To the editor:
I always enjoying reading the Advocate, and I appreciate all the articles about our great neighborhood. I am writing to respond to your most recent article, [“Live Your Lakewood Life”, January Advocate].
I believe you left out one of the great businesses in our area. Located in Lakewood is a full-production winery. They produce wines from grape to glass right in our backyard. I have been going to Times Ten Cellars for over three years now and I think it helps to make our neighborhood a better place.
Countless times I have been to fundraising auctions held at their location, and also countless times I have been to local events where they donated items to help raise funds. I have attended birthday parties, graduation parties, and a rehearsal dinner there as well. I frequently meet friends there and always take out-of-town guests to enjoy a tasting or a bottle on the patio.
Maybe you should visit and take a tour of a full production facility right in Lakewood. —Robby Sturgeon
