Help the trees please! Grab your loppers, your work gloves and your water bottles, and join For the Love of the Lake this Saturday, Sept. 14, at 7:30 a.m. to help prepare the Big Thicket at White Rock Lake for the hundreds of trees that will be planted there this fall. The number of volunteers who can help plant trees later this fall will be limited, so if you help prepare now, you can also help plant later. Generation Wasted is having an EP release party at the Curtain Club at 2800 Main this Saturday at 9 p.m. Tickets are available for only $10 and $15 at the door. With admission, you also get to check out these supporting bands: Rivethead, SHuND, The Truman Syndrome and the Reaper Crew.
