On Saturday the galleries of the Bath House Cultural Center will be filled with an eclectic collection produced by the artists from the White Rock Lake area. All of the artists featured will take part in the annual White Rock Lake Artists Studio Tour later this year. The tour brings art lovers to the homes and studios of artists and art centers near White Rock Lake. An opening reception for the local artists will be from 7-9 p.m. on Sept. 3. The exhibition will be on display through Oct. 1.

The Naked Stage returns to Union, the nonprofit coffee shop tucked away on 5622 Dyer. This week the storytelling event features stories (and maybe some music) from School of Rock. The free event begins at 8 p.m. on Sept. 2.

Add a little extra zen to your life this holiday weekend and attend DFW Free Day of Yoga at the Latino Cultural Center on Live Oak. Free yoga sessions at various skill levels will take place between 3 and 9 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 3.

“Death The Musical II: Death Takes A Harmony” can be seen this weekend at Pocket Sandwich Theatre. Directed by Scott Eckert, the play is a follow-up to the award-winning 2009 show “Death The Musical.” It’s 1982 and a series of unusual deaths in Oklahoma has piqued the interest of a detective from England. Tickets are $12-20 and reservations must be made by calling the theater at 214.821.1860. The show runs Aug. 26-Sept. 24.
