As Dallas leaders urge no trick-or-treating this weekend because of the coronavirus, here are two other events to check out in the neighborhood. Be sure to wear your mask and social distance.
Go on a scavenger huntÂ
Test your familiarity with the Vickery Place neighborhood with a scavenger hunt. Below are eight clues to objects hidden in plain sight — AKA visible from the street or sidewalk. As you spot them while walking through the neighborhood, snap a photo. When you find all eight, email your name, photos and address to info@vickeryplace.com with the subject line “VP Hunt.” The contest ends Nov. 1. Here are the objects to find:
- Texaco sign
- Cow grazing in the yard
- Kinetic yard art (blue or red)
- Doggie treat stand
- Ring on the curb to tie up your horse
- Contractor stamp in sidewalk
- Guitar in tree
- Little library
