Delbert the Dragon will make its debut at the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden this Saturday, June 23. This will be Gary Lee Price’s fourth statue at the Arboretum. There will also be six scheduled readings on Saturday and Sunday at 10 a.m., 12 p.m. and 2 p.m. Admission is $15 for adults, $12 for seniors and $10 for children aged 3-12. This week is Granada’s “Free Week” to celebrate music. There will be a limited number of free tickets with $5 tickets that can help you skip the line. Concerts start at 8 p.m. each night with a 14 and up age restriction. Visit the website for a full list of artists performing.

Backdoor Comedy will be hosting a stand-up comedy showcase this Friday, July 22 at 9 p.m. and Saturday, July 23 at 8 and 10:15 p.m. Be ready to laugh from comics from Comedy Central, Showtime, NBC’s “Last Comic Standing” and more. The event is 18 and up and tickets start at $14.
