I admit that when I was in school, science class never excited me as it should have — a shame, I know. However, if my classroom had been a state-of-the-art center where hands-on learning was a daily thing, I might have turned into a regular Einstein. Beginning next September, students at Lakehill Preparatory School will get an opportunity to work, learn and enjoy a new science center situated in a forest-y area of East Dallas. The LEED-certified building is under construction right now, and Lakehill communications director Gigi Ekstrom and Headmaster Roger Perry gave me the grand tour the other day.
