The White Rock Home Tour sold at least as many tickets as last year, event organizers said. Some of the ticket sales this year were through Albertson’s, and official numbers won’t be available for about five weeks. But lines at some houses were 20-people deep, said Christine Rogers.

Ticket sales benefit Hexter Elementary School, and the PTA will determine how to spend the money depending on where there is need, Rogers said. Past home tours have paid for a full-time art teacher, a kiln and drying rack, musical instruments and playground and auditorium equipment.

All of the houses on this year’s tour were beautiful. My favorite house was a mid-century modern one overlooking a creek on Capri Court. I don’t know who lives there, but I love their style. The video is after the jump.
