Uplift Education, an East Dallas charter school, moved from its century-old building at 2625 Elm St. to Far East Dallas. The previous property was sold to a New York investor, RXR Reality, the Dallas Morning News reports.
The new owners, RXR Realty of Uniondale, N.Y., is a private real estate investment firm with development projects in New York, Connecticut, Philadelphia, New Jersey, Arizona, Florida, Colorado and North Carolina.
RXR’s Deep Ellum purchase is the first project in Dallas. The property is listed under residential development according to the company’s website.
Uplift Education operates now in Far East Dallas following development completion Jan. 3.
