In honor of Earth Day, the Knox Henderson boutique is offering a 20 percent discount today on anything "upcycled" — previously disposed items that were taken and turned into something of greater use and value.

A few examples of The Gypsy Wagon‘s upcycles include salvaged windows transformed into magnetic chalkboards, kids’ thrift store jeans into ruffly girls’ skirts, vintage earrings into necklaces, and in the photo, tires into flower planters.

Owner Carley Seale is also playing an Al Green (as in Earth Day) marathon for her customers, and staying open until 7 p.m. so that 9-to-5ers can make it to the sale.
