Guy Fieri says Cane Rosso is a Flavortown favorite

Cane Rosso is on a victory tour of sorts. The pizza chain with two locations in East Dallas will appear next week on a Food Network show that revisits some of the best eateries previously featured on “Diners, Drive-Ins & Dives.”
The restaurant will be featured on “Triple D Nation” at 8 p.m. Feb. 28. It is the only Dallas-area eatery on the episode, which also showcases a Thai restaurant in Hawaii and a “pizza-ping pong mashup” in Washington, D.C.
Owner Jay Jerrier told the Dallas Morning News that Guy Fieri and producers filmed the episode in August 2019 at the Carrollton location.
Cane Rosso appeared on “Diners, Drive-Ins & Dives” in 2012, and the show’s popularity brought business from across the country, Jerrier said.
A visit from Fieri also turned East Dallas eats Tacos Mariachi, Pecan Lodge and Twisted Root into dining destinations.
Cane Rosso’s White Rock location is at 7328 Gaston Ave. and the Deep Ellum spot is at 2612 Commerce St.
