The Branching Out Volunteer Tree Planting at Casa Linda Park has been rescheduled from this Saturday, Nov. 2, to Friday, Nov. 15 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
The collaborative event from both the Little Forest Hills Neighborhood Association and Dallas Park and Recreation has been rescheduled due to possible inclement weather conditions.
The new date now puts the tree planting one day before the Little Forest Hills silent auction on Saturday, Nov. 16 at 7:00 p.m. at the Fraternal Order of Eagles (FOE). The proceeds from the auction will be used to fund the irrigation system at Casa Linda Park.
Attendees are encouraged to bring items for the auction such as gift cards, gift baskets etc. The FOE will be open at 2:00 p.m. the day of the auction for participants to drop off items early.
