A traffic stop in the Casa Linda area led Dallas police to find more than 7 kilos of methamphetamine and a quarter kilo of crack cocaine, police said.
The Crime Response Team from the Northeast Division made a traffic stop April 18 in the 9600 block of Garland Road.
During the stop, the team requested the canine unit and alerted them to drugs inside the car.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing, so further information about the traffic stop is unavailable at this time, police said.
