Nearly 600 people in East Dallas were without power Monday morning after a tornado passed through the city.
The twister was first spotted near Love Field at about 9 p.m. Sunday. It caused widespread damage in North Dallas and Preston Hollow, where there are numerous reports of tree damage, downed power lines and overturned cars.
The storm took out power in 52,000 homes in Dallas, including some in our neighborhood.
