Yes, it was 80 degrees on Saturday, but tonight the news anchors and TV weathermen and women will surely be in a tizzy over that menacing and possibly freezing moisture in the air — and if it keeps up, traffic will be a nightmare when schools resume tomorrow.
We even lost power at the Advocate offices today due (I can only assume) to the weather, rendering us completely helpless with no light, no internet or shared servers, and as the hours passed and the batteries died —no laptops… gasp. But here at Advocate Publishing, we like to find the beauty in even the inconvenient things — that’s why our talented photo editor Can Turkyilmaz (affectionately known around here as "Turk") paused this morning to snap a shot of today’s terrifying moisture frozen in mid drip. Isn’t it lovely?
