Friday, May 25, is the last day of school at Bonham Elementary. Final dismissal at 3 p.m. will be on the school’s front lawn, and alumni and the community are invited to attend and share their memories of Bonham, which is closing.
The Lakewood Young Life garage sale is from 7 a.m.-1 p.m. Friday and Saturday at 6002 Penrose.
The ninth-annual CityArts Festival is May 25-27 at Fair Park. It features an art show, cooking demonstrations, live music and outdoor screenings of “American Graffiti” and “Grease.” The event is free, and parking inside the park costs $10.
The Garden Cafe is hosting a community market starting at 2 p.m. Saturday.
Hillside Village Shopping Center hosts Howl at Hillside, a benefit for the White Rock Lake Dog Park, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, May 26.
