  • St. Bernard of Clairvaux Catholic School at 1420 Old Gate Lane, will host an open houses today and tomorrow, Nov. 18 and 19, from 5-7 p.m. The school, serving the White Rock area since 1948, teaches grades PK3-8 and offers individualized attention and a diverse student body.   • MYRIDE Dallas and DART is offering Mobility 101 training on Nov. 20 for caretakers, caseworkers, family members, people with disabilities, older adults and volunteers to learn about the transportation options available in Dallas County and how they connect. Training is scheduled from 8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. at the Center for Community Cooperation, Oak Corner Room, 2900 Live Oak StreetThe workshop includes complete information on transportation options in Dallas County, group outing by DART bus and rail and sensitivity training by Harvey Spears, REACH of Dallas. Cost is $12 in advance, $15 at the door. Register online.
  • The documentary “Rise Of The Unsigned: Operation Rock The Troops” will premiere at the Granada Theater, located at 3524 Greenville, on Wednesday, Nov. 20. The evening begins at 6 p.m. and will feature red carpet arrivals followed by musical performances, the debut of the film, and then culminate in a full-on rock concert with a fashion show featuring local models. Active and veteran armed service members will be offered free admission. Tickets are available in advance for $15 on the website or $20 on the day of the event.   • Woodrow Wilson High School is hosting an informational meeting, “Welcome to Woodrow,” on Wednesday, Nov. 20, at 7 p.m. The event will be at the school at 100 S. Glasgow, and it’s open to current eighth-graders in Woodrow’s feeder pattern, as well as students interested in transferring to Woodrow. It will include an overview of the International Baccalaureate program and the school’s college prep academies. Tours of the school and information on the school’s extracurricular activities and campus organizations will also be available.
