The Saint steakhouse on Gaston Avenue, just north of Deep Ellum, is closing and moving to the Design District.
The Saint’s last day in our neighborhood is Sunday, Nov. 9, according to its website. The restaurant plans to move to the Design District later … either this fall or this holiday season. No reason was given on the website, nor on Instagram for this decision.
D Magazine reported that The Saint will be on the second floor above the new Asian fusion restaurant Night Rooster, which The Saint shares an ownership group with, in the Design District. The restaurants will be in a new building at 1000 N. Riverfront Blvd.
The City of Dallas’ permitting website shows that The Saint was issued its certificate of occupancy in early 2023.
