Things were sticky for the Balcony Club there for awhile. But owner Tommy Stanco wants to remind neighbors that the club, adjacent to the Lakewood Theater, is still open, having signed a new lease last month.

If you’re looking for something to do in the neighborhood on Halloween, that’s Monday, Oct. 31, the club has a lineup of music, and by the way, they have live music every night of the week, and there is almost never a cover charge.

Here’s what’s up on Halloween:

Thaddeus “Fabulous” Ford takes the stage at 10 p.m. Ford is a 6th-generation New Orleans born jazz musician who has lived in Dallas since 2004. Ford will perform with local musicians Todd Parsnow, Gaika James, Adam Tickrell, Jaime Reyes and Cedric Israel.

The Rockin’ Ray Anderson Band, which has a 60s sound reminiscent of the Beatles, performs at 6 p.m. He will be accompanied by bassist Kelly Tomlinson and drummer Carol Dierking.

Dallas’s Little Boy performs at 8:30 p.m. The band is fronted by Matthew Pitts, formerly of the indie/alternative act the Archetypes. He will be accompanied by Billy Kuykendall on bass and Jason Ferguson on drums.

Doors will open at 5 p.m., with happy hour until 8 p.m. Costumes are encouraged.
