“Reading is Succeeding” is the DISD’s Teen School Board’s project with the East Dallas Boys & Girls Club.
The program is designed to promote literacy through personal relationships and features storytelling, group reading, artistic expression and fun grammar lessons.
On Thursday, April 14, the board members will create interactive reading stations at the club on Worth Street. Education is Freedom president and CEO Marcia Page will be on hand for a storytelling session.
