The Arboretum’s Thursday concerts kickoff this week Thursday with Dancing Dream, the ABBA Tribute Band. Enjoy the green space overlooking White Rock Lake. Tickets range from $10-$30. In addition, take an Easter portrait with a live bunny at the Arboretum Friday-Sunday.

Dallas ISD District 2 board member Dustin Marshall will be available to talk and answer questions on Thursday at 9 a.m. at Buzz Brews in East Dallas.

Head to the Lake House White Rock for a concert on Saturday featuring Wood Steel Rhythm, which includes guitarist David Burns, musicians from Graceland Ninjas and others.

The Bathhouse Cultural Center will host a staged reading of “The Comparables” by Laura Schellhardt about three real estate agents who work to save their agency. Performances will take place on Saturday and Sunday at 7:30 p.m.

An adult Easter egg hunt will commence at the Truck Yard on Sunday at 11 a.m., including alcohol and fun on Lower Greenville.

The 13th annual Newellian Easter Parade begins in Hollywood Santa Monica this Sunday at 3 p.m. The whimsical event features taxidermy, animal floats, zombie bunnies and Elvis impersonators. There will also be kids and grown-up Easter egg hunts and a deviled egg contest.

C.C. Young will host international concert pianist Gustavo Romero on Easter Sunday at 3:30 p.m. This free event features the award winning classical pianist at The Point.
