school1The Woodrow Wilson High School SBDM Team is recruiting volunteers from the community to go into classrooms to talk with students about the importance of education in their own life and careers, as a part of an associated goal to push more students to sign up for the SAT and/or ACT exams and do their best on these “gateway” exams.

Woodrow’s team of teachers, parents and administrators believe information coming from someone other than a teacher will help encourage and inspire students. On Jan. 24, they hope to blanket the campus for two hours with members of the community.
