Update: The scene has been cleared with no arrest, police say. SWAT entered an apartment where the suspect, a “known male,” may have been barricaded, but found no one. He’s still at large, and the case is under investigation.
Someone has been shot and killed at a corner near Bryan and Fitzhugh in Old East Dallas.
SWAT is at the scene, and the area has been closed off, and police officers aren’t talking, reports the Dallas Morning News. The incident occurred at 1500 Annex Avenue, and the victim may have been killed while inside a vehicle.
We don’t know if the suspect is in custody or barricaded somewhere near the scene. Police will release more details shortly.
