That Sunflower natural-style grocery store that we thought was going to open at Henderson and Ross? Turns out it will still open, but will be called Newflower, part of the Sunflower chain’s new-look marketing effort in Texas, says a spokeswoman.
The Henderson store is scheduled to open March 18, which means the Lakewood Whole Foods will beat it by about two weeks if it opens as scheduled. Sunflower has stores in Plano and Austin, and is actively looking for more sites in this area.
