If I were in 7th-12th grade I would beg my parents to sign me up for this summer class, and they’d do it too, because, as summer camps go, it’s cheap.
The White Rock Boathouse Juniors summer rowing camps begin in June, cost $50 (financial aid is available too) and run four half days:
* Summer 1: June 14 – 18
* Summer 2: June 21 – 25
* Summer 3: August 9 – 13
Time: 9 AM – 11:30 AM
Register by e-mail and include the following: name of athlete; school they will attend in the fall and his/her age
On the first day, students should wear running shoes, shorts and T-shirt and bring signed waivers and proof of physical within the last 12 months.
