Dallas Area Rapid Transit is collecting socks, blankets, canned food and unwrapped toys to stuff a 40-foot long bus for its annual Stuff a Bus event benefitting families in need.
The socks and blankets will be delivered to area senior centers, and the food and toys will help support families in need across North Texas.
This year’s donations benefit the Senior Source and Jonathan’s Place, an organization that cares for abused and neglected children.
Donations will be accepted from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday at SMU/Mockingbird Station, 5465 E. Mockingbird Lane.
A curbside donation location will be available.
