Stonewall Jackson Elementary School’s annual auction is a legendary neighborhood event. I went to one a few years ago, and the raucous live auction about bowled me over.
This year’s fundraiser is at Hotel Palomar. It starts at 7 p.m. Friday. Tickets are $50, and that includes valet, a cocktail and snacks. Nothing Bundt Cakes is providing desserts.
Auction items include children’s summer camps, jewelry, landscape and architecture services, vacation packages, restaurant gift cards and art.
