Two neighborhood schools host fundraisers this weekend, and they both sound like fun.
The Stonewall Jackson dads club is having a poker night at 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 28, on the roof at Sundown at the Granada. For more information, contact Jed Graham.
Pinot’s Pallette hosts a fundraiser for the Long Run on Sunday Sept. 30 from 5-7 p.m. Participants pay $35 for instruction and supplies to paint the Long Run poster. Long receives $10 for every painter. Sign up for the class online.
The Long Run is on Thursday, Oct. 4.
