More Albertson’s news: While taking a Sunday afternoon drive (sans parents) to replenish our orange juice supply, my sons reported a major sports celebrity sighting at Albertson’s: D.J. Mbenga, a super-tall, little-used center project with the Dallas Mavericks. Neither son was willing to ask Mbenga what he happened to be doing at Albertson’s on a Sunday afternoon (other than the obvious, of course), which caused me to wonder about their potential aptitude as journalists, since they were unwilling to disrupt someone’s Sunday with dopey questions. But it did make me feel better about them as considerate young people. And as for Mbenga and what he’s doing in the neighborhood, that’s a good question…
