Back Talk’s favorite speed trap was up and running on southbound Skillman, between Mockingbird and the railroad bridge. When I drove past – doing the speed limit, of course — the motorcycle cop was writing a ticket for a car he had pulled over.
Traffic, in fact, was pretty messy on Abrams and Skillman just south of Mockingbird. Construction on Abrams has the right, southbound lane marked with potholes. And Skillman northbound a block or so before Mockingbird was reduced to one lane because of construction.
