As a tribute to the beloved actor Timothée Chalamet, this daily experience’s menu references some of his most popular movies and roles.
“We were inspired to create a Timothée Chalamet-themed afternoon tea as a playful tribute to one of our favorite actors, who blends artistry, elegance and whimsy — much like our tea experience,” said Roshi Muns, owner of Society. “From ‘Wonka’ to ‘Dune’ to his portrayal of Bob Dylan, his range sparked a creative menu that invites guests to enjoy tea with a cinematic twist.”
The experience starts with a variety of tea sandwiches, including NYC Pastrami, The Fresh Dispatch Cucumber Cream, Chicken on the Za’atarine, Golden Ticket Raisin & Feta and Whipple Scrumptious Strawberry Cream. For the scone course, guests can enjoy the bakery’s signature scone, as well as Chalamet-inspired scones Like a Rolling Scone and Violet’s Blueberry Lemon. The final course will consist of Knockin’ on Heaven’s S’Mores, Chocolate Factory Dream Cake, Spice Cake of Arrakis, Ms. Lohan’s Histogram Brownies and Sand Dune Petit Fours. Each course comes with a tea selection specially curated by Society’s tea sommelier Emily Cassady.
The reservation-based experience is available through Sunday, June 29. Reservations cost $85 per person, plus tax and gratuity, and must be made at least 96 hours (or four full days) in advance.
Society Bakery + Tea Room is located at 1926 Skillman St. in Lakewood.
