Given the growing plethora of roofing signs dotting neighborhood yards, it’s a good idea to have a game plan before handing your insurance check over to someone you just met. Also included in the tips are a couple of options for recycling shingles, something I honestly hadn’t even thought about. The only bad news here is that it looks like you, or your roofer if you make it part of the deal, will be paying between $30 and $120 to dump a load of hail-battered shingles at one of these sites.
