My wife has been helping her mother clean up extraneous paperwork at her house, so our little home shredder has been overheating on a daily basis. Some here’s some good news for the shredder: Tietze Park is hosting a shredathon Saturday, March 27, from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Skillman Church of Christ parking lot next door, 3014 Skillman at Monticello. Brink’s Document Destruction will have two shredding trucks onsite, and 10 percent of proceeds benefit the church’s Angel Food Ministries. Cost is $7 for one standard banker’s box full of papers and $5 for each additional box (seniors can shred all they want for $5 per box). The event is being co-sponsored by the Friends of Tietze Park Foundation.
