Here are some neighborhood school news nuggets for the week:
- On Wednesday, Oct. 22, at 5:45 p.m. is the Woodrow Wilson High School homecoming parade, followed by the pep rally and tailgate party.
- The Fall Fest is on Saturday, Oct. 25, from 3-6 p.m. at Lakewood Elementary. There will be a talent show, chili cook off and plenty for the kiddos, including a haunted house, hayride, inflatable obstacle course, bounce house and more, plus a concert by Lakewood dad Ronnie Fauss.
- Join J. L. Long Middle School for its fall play, ‘Harry’s Hotter at Twilight,” this week from Oct. 23-25 in the Long auditorium. Ticket prices are $3. Learn more.
