  • Applications to the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme at Woodrow Wilson High School for the incoming 2014-2015 school year are due by 4:30 p.m. on Feb. 7.  Completed applications may be delivered to the school or mailed to the address on the application.  No late or incomplete applications will be accepted.  Applications are available at:  www.woodrowwildcats.org  For more information, contact Dr. Kelly Ritchie at kritchie@dallasisd.org  or 972.502.4400.   • The Hex Gala +Auction for Victor H. Hexter Elementary School is right around the corner, on Feb. 8. Tickets are $25 a person. Learn more on the online event page.
  • Lakewood Early Childhood PTA is hosting the Comerica For the Love of Lakewood Piggy Bank Challenge to raise money for the Lakewood Elementary Expansion Foundation (better known as the LEEF initiative). Lakewood Elementary students have until Feb. 19 to become the classroom with the most spare change in their classroom piggy bank. The classroom that collects the most money will win a cookie cake class party and $100 gift card for their teacher. Learn more.
