The St. Thomas Aquinas fifth-grade Wildcats football team won the Catholic Bowl championship last November, beating the St. Rita Spartans 7-0. The Wildcats were undefeated with eight wins and zero losses. It is the second team in St. Thomas’s 50-year history to win the Catholic Bowl.
Let there be light
In December, Lakewood residents young and old gathered to light the Lakewood Shopping Center Christmas tree during Light Up Lakewood, an event launching the holiday season.
Pretty in pink
St. Thomas Aquinas Pink Wildcats Soccer team participated in the state competition, the Tournament of Champions, recording a 3-1 victory in their last two games.
