If one White Rock Marathon per annum just isn’t enough for you, this is your lucky year. Organizers of “The Rock” have pulled together a springtime race — just a half (JUST 13.1 miles, in March, in Texas, piece of cake, right?) that follows the same Victory Plaza/ Lakewood/ Katy Trail Course as did the White Rock Half Marathon this past December. I hear it was a real nice course (nice especially since the half-marathon course evaded those energy-sapping winds that hit the marathoners White Rock Lake-side).
