The Fahey Group purchased the Robin Autopilot and plans to move its headquarters from Dallas to Cleveland, where it will be closer to its manufacturer, the Dallas Morning News reported.

Launched in 2015, the Robin is essentially a Roomba for the yard. Each day, the self-guided robot trims a fraction of grass, leaving minimal clippings. It finds its charging station each night to power up for the next cut. It can complete an entire yard in two or three days.

The technology is the brainchild of Justin Crandall and Bart Lomont, who designed the robot with the help of Dialexa Labs, a local technology consulting firm and incubator for innovative ideas. Crandall and Lomont will stay on as company advisers.

More than 1,000 customers in 12 states use the robotic mower, which costs $19 a week for services like lawn care, maintenance, repairs and theft protection.Â
