Last month on this blog I told you about Rising Gallery, which East Dallas neighbors Bryan and Taber Wetz recently opened. The brothers are now organizing a new juried art competition, and they’ve put out an open call to neighborhood artists. They’re looking for paintings, drawings, photography and sculpture. All submissions must be in by 6 p.m. on April 2, and if your entry is selected, it will be included in a new exhibition that opens there April 17.
