With Dallas topping at over 100 degrees, a margarita from Matt’s Rancho Martinez is in order. I am “frozen with sugar” and my husband is “rocks with salt”…both are refreshing. Happy Hour is Monday-Friday (3pm-7pm). Grab a $4.25 margarita after work!
Matt’s in Lakewood has one of my favorite appetizers, Shrimp and Avocado Cocktail; packed with baby shrimp. It is amazing with chips or inside a tortilla. Another house favorite is Pork Carnitas. The pork is slow smoked and served with Early Texas Ancho sauce that kicks up the flavor.
This place is great year round, but summer time is Matt’s time. Enjoy the outdoor patio with festive lights or a booth inside the air-conditioning dining room.
