Typically, I avoid buffets. Something about the sneeze guards gets me. Ali Baba, however, is my exception.

For about $10 you can get your fill on on the likes of chicken curry, do-it-yourself gyros, and dolmas. I’m especially fond of the humus here, which is creamier than most. If you like beef, I suggest the kafta kabob (ground meat with parsley, onion, and spices) — and if you prefer poultry, I recommend the shistawook (marinated chunks of chicken).

Though they’re not on the lunchtime buffet, there are some lamb and shrimp entrées for dinner. There’s also a handful of options of vegetarians, like the baked eggplant. And if you prefer to dine a la casa, there’s a to-go menu.
