The sixth annual Pumpkins in the Park Picnic is scheduled from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Oct. 20 at the Tietze Park Pavilion. It is sponsored by Lakewood Heights Neighborhood Association and the Lower Greenville Neighborhood Association.
There will be pumpkin carving and decorating for the kids, and a chili cook-off for the adults. Angela Hunt and State Representative Allen Vaught will serve as our honorary head judges. (And you thought a posting on the blog was going to get away without some sort of reference to the Trinity River Proposal.)
