Kevin Obregon and Vanessa Neil of the Cube Creative are launching a marketing campaign with a poster they designed to promotes the Bishop Arts District and the Tyler Davis Art District. They’re having a launch party at 7 p.m. Feb. 3 at Eno’s.

The poster measures 18 by 24 inches so that it can be folded to fit into one of those pamphlet racks you see in hotel lobbies. On one side is Obregon and Neil’s design. On the back is a map of Oak Cliff attractions.

"We want to start bridging the gap," between Bishop Arts and Tyler/Davis, Neil says.

The couple expects to commission Oak Cliff artists to create new posters four times a year, and they hope people will start collecting them. They’re printing 300 signed, special edition posters, which are printed with heavy archival paper and archival inks, which they’ll sell for $50 each. The proceeds will go toward the mural project they’re working on. We’ll tell you more about that project in a blog post later this week.
