Porky the pothole pig sniffed out two troublesome potholes when he was patrolling the neighborhood recently.
Porky found the double doink on Kidwell Street, in front of Studio B and Chamberlain Studios of Self-Defense.
These potholes are located perfectly in the middle of the road, and because guests usually park on the side of the street, motorists are forced to drive right over them as they veer toward the center to avoid the parked vehicles.
If you’re lucky enough to miss the first one, a small but deep hole, as you drive toward Richmond Avenue, beware the shallow, but bigger, one that stands ready to pop your tire.
Porky reported this pothole to the City of Dallas’ 311 online portal. The report number is 21-00019740 if you want to follow along. The estimated response time is three days, with a service followup five days later. We’re watching to see if it gets fixed.
