Dallas Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying the suspect involved in the deadly hit-and-run of a pedestrian in East Dallas early Friday morning.
On Nov. 24, 4:30 a.m., officers responded to a hit-and-run accident near Samuell-Grand Park, where they found Jose Antonio Herrera-Hernandez, 31. Herrera-Hernandez died at the scene, Dallas Police said.
The preliminary investigation determined Herrera-Hernandez was walking eastbound in the 3800 block of Samuell Boulevard where he was struck by a vehicle. The driver continued eastbound on Samuell Boulevard without stopping to help the victim, police said.Â
Police do not have a description of the driver or the vehicle involved in the accident at this time.Â
