Police arrested two men accused of three aggravated robberies in the East Dallas area after they led officers on a high-speed chase Monday along Interstate 35 and Interstate 30, according to a police report.

Authorities said they identified a black Lexus that had been used in previous robberies in the 2800 block of Henderson Avenue, the 2800 block of Fitzhugh Avenue and the 2200 block of Worthington Street.

The chase started in south Dallas near Cedar Crest Boulevard and E. 11th Street and moved onto I-35 as the men drove through heavy traffic, reaching speeds of about 90 mph, WFAA reported. They then traveled along I-30 and exited at a wooded area near Lawnview Avenue and Hunnicut Road.

Officers chased them on foot down some railroad tracks and took both men into custody, according to the report. One man was arrested on the tracks. The second was arrested in the front yard of a home.
