If you’ve made your way up to the Central Market on Lovers recently, you’ve probably noticed the construction across Matilda. It’s hard to miss, now that things are moving skyward.
The high-end senior living community, The Tradition: Lovers Lane, which for months looked like a giant crater after they broke ground last December, is finally coming along.
In the end, the development at 5850 Lovers Lane will become a 7.5-acre community, which will include a 202-unit independent living building at the corner of Matilda and Milton designed by Houston architects Meeks + Partners. A 109-unit assisted living/memory care property will be built next door, fronting Milton, designed by Dallas architects D2 Architecture, LLC.
It doesn’t look like much yet, but this is the end-game Tradition is going for…
Also, right next door, the The Landmark on Lovers Apartments look like they will be complete any day now. They are already renting out spaces. The Landmark on Lovers is not associated with Tradition, although Tradition did sell Landmark the lot space because they thought they would be a good neighbor.
