If you’re hungry for the days of weekend brunch at Kitchen 1924 in the Lakewood Shopping Center, good news. Penne Pomodoro, now located in the former 1924 spot has brunch Saturdays and Sundays. The menu looks good with all the staples and some specialties including a variety of omlets, breakfast pizza and vanilla French toast priced in the $9-$12 range but — and most of my friends will be happy to see this — the mimosas and bellinis are just $1.
