There’s a story in the May Advocate, which should appear at your door any day now, about Lakewood Elementary teachers Caroline Lambert and Felia Anderson who will retire after this year after decades of work in our neighborhood. There’s a party for them at Matt’s in Lakewood Shopping Center on Tuesday, May 18 at 3:30 p.m.-ish.
Former students are encouraged to drop by and say “thanks”, “goodbye” and “happy retirement”. We mentioned the party in the story, but somehow I managed to leave out the time. My apologies!
