The donation of a new or gently used book works as admission for the entire family — and your little dog, too — for an outdoor screening of "The Wizard of Oz" at Mockingbird Station Wednesday at 7 p.m.
The books go to the Dallas Public Library’s Every Child Ready to Read program. There will be free literacy screenings starting at 6:30 p.m.
The movie is the first of Mockingbird Station’s "Cause for Celebration" events, which are every Wednesday through Dec. 18 and will benefit a different cuase each week.
