Step into the studios of two local artists in an open studio day on Saturday, July 20. The event is sponsored by the annual White Rock Lake Artists’ Studio Tour, which is set for its 31st annual event this October.

Jim Hastings sketches and draws lifelike portraits of his family, in honor of his late daughter Zoe. His work was previously covered by the Advocate in 2018. 

Clara Johnson is a painter that’s been featured in a variety of Texas art programs for over fifteen years now.

Their studios will be open to the public from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. You can RSVP at this link.
